Welcome!

I live on Cape Ann in Gloucester, MA, an art and fishing community surrounded by the natural beauty of the shoreline where I love to connect with nature through my camera. Setting out to scout wildlife is an exciting adventure that always makes me feel alive. You never now what you may see on any given day.

I hope you enjoy my images, and reading the stories behind them in my Photo Blog. My goal in sharing them is to raise awareness, inspire preservation, and evoke joy.

Inspiration

I am inspired by color and light, lines, spontaneity, and other creative people.

I am obsessed with nature, the ocean, and birds especially. When they fly into my life I feel extremely lucky and happy.

Techniques

I shoot with a Canon Mark 5 and a Sony Alpha 6400 mirrorless plus various lenses. Then I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to process.

I often do a quick curve or saturation adjustment, but normally don’t retouch my nature photos. Those photos that have been manipulated are placed into the Abstract Gallery on this site.
